If vacancies remain after admission, an additional enrollment of doctoral (PhD) students at SRINM will be announced.
Admission is competitive based on the results of two entrance examinations (exams are taken in Russian): a specialized discipline corresponding to the chosen scientific specialty, and English (interview).
For the 2026/2027 academic year, SRINM offers the opportunity to apply for doctoral (PhD) programs in research and teaching staff training using the "Admission to University Online" super‑service through the federal state system "Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (Functions)."

State-issued diploma of higher education (Specialist’s or Master’s degree) with transcript of completed courses and grades (original and copy)

Reference letter from the place of work or study

List of published scientific works, inventions (if any)
Abstract on the chosen specialty (for applicants with no scientific works or inventions in the chosen specialty), reviewed by the prospective research supervisor
Identification document (passport) – original and copy of the photo page and registration page
Two photographs
Documents confirming individual achievements (submitted at the applicant’s discretion)
If special conditions are required for entrance examinations – a document confirming limited health capacity or disability necessitating such conditions
For persons with disabilities of groups I and II, disabled since childhood, or disabled due to military trauma or illness acquired during military service – a report from a federal medical‑social expert commission confirming no contraindications for studying in the relevant educational organizations.

Submission of documents in electronic form is not provided.
Documents sent by mail must be received by the Institute no later than the established document submission deadlines. An authorized representative must have a notarized power of attorney specifying the powers granted to the representative.
No dormitory accommodation is provided to admitted doctoral (PhD) students.
